|Walker Mity-Tite Adhesive
Daily and Short-term Extended Wear
.5 ounce with Brush On Applicator|
Walker Mity-Tite is an solvent-based, acrylic adhesive ideal for daily wear and short-term extended wear applications and has an average hold time of 1-2 weeks*. Good for use on both lace and polyurethane; also used for touch-ups on permanent soft bonds and to reactivate tapes.
Walker Mity-Tite is similar to Walker Ultra Hold, it is just not as concentrated (hold time is shorter) and is not as messy, much easier to work with.
Directions and Recommendations: Apply to scalp in thin layer and let dry (about 3-5 minutes); glue is dry when shine is gone. If desired, apply a second coat and let dry for a better hold. For easier clean up of system, first attach hairpiece tape to unit, and then apply Mity-Tite to tape. For sensitive skin or to increase adhesion first use Scalp Protector on clean scalp. Removal: Use Lace Release for lace front or base to release adhesive or tape from unit. Apply C-22 Citrus-Based Solvent or Lan-O-Sol to other types of bases as directed and use to remove adhesive residue from scalp and hair systems.
Ingredients: Acrylic Adhesive, A Proprietary blend of Isopropanol Ethyl Acetate, Heptane, Toluene
*Attachment time varies from one individual to another depending on body chemistry and activity level. Oily skin, humidity and perspiration can interfere with or reduce the hold time and oily skin can prevent the tape from sticking so skin should always be properly prepared before applying adhesive. We recommend using Scalp or Skin Protector, which puts a barrier between the skin and tape/glue and may help to increase hold time as well as protect skin from irritation; individual results vary. Brand new wigs and hair systems should be washed before first use to remove any chemicals the manufacturer applied that may prevent tape and glue from sticking to the base.
